Wherever flanges are used in connecting parts of a duct system, the potential for air leakage exists. Besides contributing to energy waste, leaks can also create noise. Sealing of ductwork can be accomplished with the use of gasket which adheres to flanged surfaces.
FEATURES
- When material is attached to a flange, then assembled to a second flange, it creates a seal
- Neoprene Gasket is a black, continuous, closed cell, medium density rubber product, has excellent resistance to oil and fuel
- Air-tight performance
- Low water absorption
- Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, oils, etc.
- Temperature range: -35 to 95°C.
- Ideal for access doors in high velocity systems
